Nissan Navara Drivers Door Not Locking

I can hear the actuator operating in the door lock assembly but not actually locking the door.

Nissan navara drivers side door will not lock hello i have a nissan aventura 2005 model. But this is also very difficult. I have a 2007 gu patrol wagon.

The drivers side door fails to lock when the remote key is pressed. I am unable to unlock the drivers side door to my nissan patrol 2003. All other doors lock ok. I have removed the drivers side seat in order to remove some of the door trim to get at the locking mechanism.

If you can still feel it in the drivers door then have a look inside the door and see if the mechanism is all working freely. Kinda figured that as the d40 only gets 1 door lock with akey hole and its not the drivers door lol has it got genuine remote central locking. It is jammed and i cant open it using the key door handles from inside or outside. I bought a new nissan door assembly unit and it appears to be not moving freely.

If i press the central locking fob it locks all door apart from the drivers it arms the alarm and if i return to the vehicle after a minute pull the handle on the driver side door it opens and the alarm goes off any help appreciated pete. Does it work properly with the remote.
