Since the drivers door works properly i would suspect you have door lock actuator issues which is part of the front and rear door lock latch assembly. The liftgate on the nissan murano is normally unlocked by pushing the unlock button twice on either your keyless remote or your driver side door panel switch.

You may want to toggle that switch a couple times just to be sure the switch doesn t have a bad connection.
